The Australian Liver Foundation (ALF) raises funds for national research and education in liver disease.

(11/06/2009)

The Australian Liver Foundation (ALF) raises funds for national research and education in liver disease.

We know that patients and their families and friends, touched by liver disease, often want to help but do not know how.  We have established a "Grateful Patients Program" so that people may make a tax deductible gift to the Australian Liver Foundation, which is chaired by Hon Mike Ahern AO.  The Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee advises the Board on how funds can best be distributed and is chaired by Professor Lawrie Powell AC.  Nurses are encouraged to make patients aware of the Australian Liver Foundation and a PDF of the brochure is attached.
