Advanced Course in Hepatitis C Nursing

  This two-day course in Hepatitis C is designed to provide nurses with advanced practical skills and knowledge in Hepatitis C. Some knowledge and experience of Hepatitis C nursing is assumed such as epidemiology,natural history, disease progression, testing, current treatment options and management of side effects.Nursing issues regarding advanced liver disease, liver transplants, hepatocellular carcinoma and coinfection will be discussed. Nutritional management and management of hepatitis C in priority populations will also be covered. Learning objectives are based on the Australasian Hepatology Association (AHA).
