Participants at the third annual Australasian Hepatology Association (AHA) – Schering Plough (SP) Summit in April 2008 wholeheartedly supported the need to raise the profile of hepatology with health professionals and the general public.

Many great ideas were shared including formalising links with key stakeholders including doctors, universities, nursing councils, drug and alcohol organisations and others.

Work is presently underway on this task by members of the AHA.
